Applications for the October OCI Program are now open for 2L & 3L students and run through September 19 at 5 PM!
Below are important dates for the October OCI Program. Mark your calendar!
October 2025 On-Campus Interview Program: October 13-17, 2025
September 12-19 @ 5 PM: Student application period
September 30-October 6 @ noon: Student Accept/Decline for Preselect Interviews
October 6: Final schedules to employers
Pay attention to the “Type of Interview” section when reviewing employers. If the listing states “On Campus,” the employer will conduct in-person interviews at the law school career center. You must interview at the law school for all in-person interviews. If the listing states “Virtual,” the employer will conduct virtual interviews on the date indicated.
Resume Collect employers are in their own OCI Round. Employers signed up for “October Resume Collect Only (Application Packets Released September 22)” will receive student application packets on September 22. From there, it is up to the employers to reach out to students directly to schedule an interview at their convenience.

How do I prepare?
Employers may request a resume, cover letter, transcript, writing sample, and/or references or recommendations. You may contact Kayla Wimberley or Saige Lee for assistance with your application materials. Send your documents for review well in advance of the OCI deadlines. Additionally, guidance handouts are available in your Career & Professional Development Canvas Course and on the Resource Library tab in Raider Recruit.
Writing Sample. All writing samples must be no longer than 10 pages, have your name at the top (preferably your letterhead from your resume), and be in PDF format. Review the Writing Samples handout.
Transcripts. You should use the most recent version of your transcript. You may not use your MyTechLaw version of your transcript for job applications. Request an electronic version of your transcript from the Registrar’s office here under “Current Students”: https://www.depts.ttu.edu/law/academics/registrar/transcript.php. Please include your R Number in your request. Transcript requests must be made no later than September 16 to ensure you receive it in time to submit applications. This is a hard deadline from the Registrar’s Office.
Attire. Do you have your outfit prepared in the event you are asked to interview? If not, start thinking about what you will wear now. You should dress like an attorney. Review the Interview Attire handout on Canvas or Raider Recruit or ask a Career & Professional Development team member.
To which employers should I apply?
Apply to employers that fit your geographic and practice area preferences. Most employer websites contain a wealth of information. Researching employers before you apply will assist you in preparing for an interview. Employers expect you to know about their organization, practice areas, and ask informed questions of your interviewers. Review the handout on Pre-Interview Employer Research. In addition to employer websites, you can obtain information about firms and attorneys from LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Bloomberg.
