My name is Ian Silfies and I work for Washington, D.C. based boutique law firm, Antonoplos & Associates Attorney At Law. Our law firm recently created the “Antonoplos & Associates Legal Scholarship” award that will offer one incoming or current 1L, 2L, or 3L law student at an ABA accredited law school a $2,500 scholarship. The scholarship is a one-time award. However, applicants who have received the award in a previous year can reapply for the scholarship the following year. The eligibility requirements for the scholarship are:
- Must be a U.S. resident,
- Must be an incoming or current 1L, 2L, or 3L law student at an ABA Accredited school,
- Must have at least a bachelor’s degree,
- Applicants must have graduated from their university or college with a 3.0 GPA or above.
Further, the application requirements for the scholarship are:
- Current resume,
- Unofficial undergraduate transcript,
- Candidates must submit a 1000-word minimum essay that describes what they hope to contribute to the legal field and how they plan to positively impact their community.
The scholarship will be applied to tuition or cost-of-living expenses for the 2022-2023 school year and the application deadline is May 31st, 2022. Currently, interested students must apply by submitting their application materials through our website.
