Constitution Day

Constitution Day commemorates the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787, a document that established the framework of our government and continues to guide our nation today. Each year, law schools and organizations across the country recognize this day as an opportunity to reflect on the principles of liberty, limited government, and the rule of law that form the foundation of our constitutional system.

The Federalist Society is a community of law students, professors, and practitioners who care deeply about constitutional law and the role of the courts. We believe that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution and that it is the role of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. Our chapter provides a forum for balanced and open debate on important legal issues, hosting speakers, panels, and discussions that bring diverse perspectives to campus.

This Constitution Day, we invite you to stop by our table, pick up a free pocket Constitution, and learn more about our upcoming events. Whether you are passionate about constitutional law, curious about different perspectives in legal debates, or simply looking to get more involved on campus, the Federalist Society is the perfect place to engage, connect, and grow.
